2025 TIMETABLE!

 Please find below a copy of the Term 1, 2024 timetable. Our classes are based on age and ability, Miss Dani will advise a parent if a student should participate in another age group. 

Age groups are based off your child’s age as of January 1st 2025.

Tiny Tot classes have been divided into smaller age categories so that all students are getting the most out of their classes. Tiny Tot students normally progress to the Petite age group either when they start to attend primary school, or when Miss Dani thinks they may be ready for an older class. 

AGE GROUPS

PETITE 5 - 6 YEARS

MINI  7 - 8 YEARS

JUNIOR 9 - 10 YEARS

PRE-TEEN 11 - 12 YEARS

TEEN   13 - 15 YEARS

SENIOR  16 YEARS PLUS

Acro classes are levelled depending on certain skills. This is to make sure that all students that are in a class best suited to their skill level so that they can all benefit and develop skills catered to them. The age groups and skills are listed below - if you are not sure, it is better that they go a level below and Miss Dani can always put them up if needed. Students may change levels throughout the year they achieve the necessary skills for the next level. 

Petite Level 1 Acro:  Beginners Acro: No skills needed

Mini Level 1 Acro:  Beginners Acro: No skills needed

Mini Level 2 Acro: Must be able to (or close to): Standing to bridge, Handstand to bridge, Bridge to standing, Kick over from bridge 

Level 3 Acro:  Beginners Acro: No skills needed

Level 4 Acro:  Must be able to (or close to): Standing to bridge, Handstand to bridge, Bridge to standing, Kick over from bridge 

Level 5 Acro:  Front & Back walkovers, Arabians, Front handspring, Side Aerial - Working towards: Back tuck, Back handspring, Front Aerial 

Comp Team classes are only for those that are members of the comp team. Comp team dancers will not participate in the regular stream of classes this year - only the classes that are not available in the ‘comp team’ format in their age group. This is so that we can work on more elite content that will best suit the progress of your dance technique. Upon enrolment we will assist you to make sure that all of your classes are correct. Alternatively you can check the required classes above for a break down of classes and times. 

PRIVATE LESSONS

Private lessons are offered to students that are selected by Miss Dani. They will only be offered to students that wish to compete in competitions and they must be members of the competition troupes to be eligible. If you are interested please let us know and Miss Dani can see if you will be a good candidate. 

COMPETITION TEAMS

Competition teams are based on age and ability. The competition troupes will not be ‘selective’ in the students who wish to join, but they will be guided by Miss Dani. This is just to make sure that no dancer is pushed too far too early and to make sure that the team will be the best for them.  

There are minimum class requirements to be eligible for League23 Competition Teams. This is to ensure the dancers are prepared and able to perform at their best, and not be disadvantaged due to a lack of studio time. Because we would like as many of our students to participate as possible we have put together discount bundles. Families can choose either: the Unlimited Bundle or the Basic Bundle, depending on the class load that their child would like to do. 

• The Basic Bundle includes the minimum and specific classes we require all students to undertake to be eligible for our comp teams. Students wishing to compete must commit to all of the classes in the Basic Bundle. 
• The Unlimited Bundle includes all of the classes in their age range. A dancer on the Unlimited Bundle has no cap on their classes and can attend all of the classes through the week that falls into their age range. 

This includes Hip Hop, Broadway, Tap, Ballet and double ups of all the classes you love.

*We strictly do not allow crossing over and dancing in other classes besides their allocated age category. It is so important for the students to learn with their respective age group and develop through dance as a team, especially for students who wish to perform in competition teams. We offer private lessons for selected students if they are at the stage of progressing, to give them more opportunity to perform - but not for standard classes. 

HOW TO READ THE TIMETABLE

We have colour coded and labelled our timetable with each age group for your convenience. Once you know what age group your child will be in, you can select any and as many classes as you would like to join.
